His general position entails leading all nurses in a Med Surge Unit
His duties include: Future scheduling, staffing accordingly to absences, rounds with nurses, supervises
nurses with patient care decisions, assesses patients in the event of an emergency, provides immediate
assignments to nurses when they check-in for duty, in charge of evaluations of nurses and nursing
assistants for promotion and raises. He is also coaches nursing staff to enhance performance and assist
in their well-being.
