Students will write a memo to their internship supervisors outlining 3-4 goals that they expect to accomplish
during the internship. The importance of each goal and what it will accomplish for the student will also be
explained. Students must discuss the goals with their supervisors, who will approve and initial the goals memo
which students will scan and return to the instructor. Goals must be realistic and achievable during the span of
the internship. Students will reflect on the achievement of the goals at mid semester and in the final report.
Sample memo will be provided. Review sample goals memo for formatting and content guidelines.
