Just this week, the United States witnessed yet another school shooting – this time in Uvalde, Texas. Since the 1999 Columbine shootings, 169 people have been killed in 14 of these mass shootings at educational institutions (this does not include non-educational institution mass shootings such as the one in Las Vegas a few years back). Clearly, we have a problem but we seem to be unable or unwilling to do anything except offer “thoughts and prayers” to those affected. What do you believe needs to be done? Better protection in schools? Gun control legislation? Etc.?
