Having spent some time reading and learning about the theory and practice of peer review, what do you think are some of the biggest benefits to the process? What potential drawbacks might there be? If you have used peer review previously (in a class or at work), how well did it work for you? Articles in legal journals are generally peer-reviewed, but law review articles are reviewed by second- and third-year law students in most law schools. What are some advantages and disadvantages of review of articles by law students as opposed to peers who are already attorneys?
