Funeral Planning (written report and group discussion) (Worth 10 points of Grade)
The purpose of this assignment is to assist the student in identifying their attitudes and beliefs towards death and dying in order to be able to support patients and their families through the process.
Written presentation will include 4 parts:
1) Outline of plans for funeral including ceremony, music, readings, decision on burial and cost;
2) Summary of what you learned about yourself in this process and the discussion you had with your family about your wishes/plans
3) Letter written to Family or Significant other
4) Active participation in group discussion
