For the second project, I want you to focus your work in one of several general areas. First, you can do a project on 1- culture, or 2- deviance and social control, or 3- social stratification or 4- race and ethnicity; or you also have the choice to look at more personal subjects, including 5- gender and sexuality, or 6- your family tree or family history. Pick one of these 6 possible projects. Again, I want you to create a collage using photographs, cartoons, and the written word. You can use what you find in the course materials or use your own original material, including your own writing. Be sure to include information you have learned in this class. Creativity counts, but so does content! Don’t give me a family tree without explaining what type of family you come from and how it would be viewed by a theoretical paradigm.
