The final paper is a Research Paper, 8-10 pages (exclusive of title and references pages), should demonstrate an understanding of the reading assignments, class discussions, your own research and the application of new knowledge. It should consist of at least 6-8 resources including the textbook, at least 2 peer-reviewed sources, and the rest can be from the Internet. Your paper must be in APA format.
You will address all of the following questions in the form of a scholarly paper:
1. What are the major challenges that have faced the long term care system in recent years?
2. How successfully has the system responded to those challenges?
3. What changes can be expected in long term care financing (i.e. how will long term care be paid for?)
4. How will changes in technology impact long-term care providers and consumers?
5. What might be some ethical challenges to be faced in long-term care in the future?
6. What is the job outlook in the field of long-term care?
Requirements for the Final Paper
1. Must be eight to ten double-spaced pages in length, and formatted according to APA style 6th edition.
2. Must include a title page with the following:
a. Title of paper
b. Student’s name
c. Course name and number
d. Instructor’s name
e. Date submitted
3. Must begin with an introductory paragraph that has a succinct thesis statement.
4. Must address the topics of the paper with critical thought.
5. Must end with a conclusion that reaffirms your thesis.
6. Must use at least six scholarly resources,
7. Must document all sources in APA style.
8. Must include a separate reference page, formatted according to APA style
