This annotated Bibliography should focus on an overview of research by historians of archaeology. It is
important that the different approaches become clear. It is intended to show how knowledge in the archaeological sciences is produced . Who decides what is archaeological
science and what is not.
Of particular interest is literature that deals with:
– How archaeological knowledge is acquired today compared to the past
– > Histography of Archaeological research.
– Investigations of power structures within the established archaeological sciences.
Please do not discuss too much of your own view (it should be a annotated Bibliography not a literature review) It should provide a true overview
of the research. Only peer reviewed literature or books.
