You can tour the “Deep Time” exhibit on fossils and geologic time. Or you can visit the Janet Annenberg Hooker Hall of Geology, Gems, and Minerals. Or there might be other possibilities.
If you have ever used Google “Street View” you’ll find the interface familiar. You can click to move from exhibit to exhibit. You can zoom in to read the signs and labels (and take notes).
After “moving” through an exhibit and taking notes, write your extra credit essay. Add material from your book, and (if applicable) your own experience.
Note: You only have to “tour” one exhibit hall, not all of them! But make sure you pick one that is related to something we discuss in the class.
