MLA Format Academic sources including a Works Cited page, Need of opposing side, essay must use at least seven researched sources for support. These sources must be from within the last five years. Essay should be adding to the existing academic conversation on your chosen topic. In addition to your own argument, need to consider counterarguments.an introductory section that begins by grabbing our attention and ends with an interesting, tension-filled thesis, body paragraphs full of information, and a concluding paragraph that goes beyond summary to answer the “So what?” question. Each body paragraph needs to have a topic sentence, specific details and ideas, and a concluding sentence. Your body paragraphs should synthesize your source’s information (show where they are similar or different) and not summarize one source for each paragraph.
