Climb into the skin of the persona of one of the following poems: “Love in Place,” or “To Be of Use” and explain “your” experience. First, identify the poem and describe the situation in a sentence; then describe “your” (the persona’s ) feelings about the situation by choosing one or two words or phrases and explaining how they shape the experience. Your post should be about 100 – 150 words long.
Part 2:
Do a close reading of one or two lines from one of the poems listed below. Focus on how the words or image develop a theme in the poem: “Design,” “A Noiseless, Patient Spider.”
