Please answer the following question. Be sure to fully answer the question with well-structured and constructed arguments supported by empirical evidence.
Question: Men and women, on average, tend to differ in their sexual strategies. As a result of these different preferences, both sexes have evolved mechanisms to strategically interfere with the strategies of the other sex. The thwarting of an individual’s sexual strategy leads to the implementation of other strategies to achieve their sexual goals. Describe how these forms of strategic interference follow from an understanding of men’s and women’s evolved mating strategies and what other strategies are used when sexual goals are interfered with.
