Paper 2 Requirements:
Note: if your final paper is turned in without a work cited page or evidence from the required number of sources incorporated into your analysis, you will fail. Also, if you don’t meet the minimum page length, you will fail.
* See syllabus for due date.
* No email submissions are accepted. Submit paper via Turn it in.com PAPERS
NOT TURNED IN ON TIME WILL RECEIVE A ZERO.
* 5-7 pages typed.
* Choose one primary source from unit 2 or 3 (Eng. 102: may only write on the
final unit play). I’ll announce in class how many secondary sources are
required & where you may locate them.
* After choosing one primary source from unit 1, you are required to develop a
an introduction paragraph that offers a specific context re. what you are
writing about, the theme & its related ideas, as well as a POV on
said theme & its related context. The themes, characters, character
relationships, historical contexts, source material, MLA citations, etc. will be
discussed during class.
* Once your thesis is developed, you’re required to argue it in your body
paragraphs, developing relevant / related arguments, citing evidence, &
analyzing evidence. Use MLA style internal citations & provide a work cited
page.
* Your thesis, primary & secondary source citations, & your
analysis of said citations must be placed in bold.
