You will select a health issue that is of national (U.S.) or global significance. Each week you will develop part of the final assignment, including explaining the health issue, doing an annotated bibliography about health policy related to this issue, and identifying a potential solution that you will present as a policy brief to stakeholders. Do not select a disease to write about, rather, an issue. Example: Diabetes is not an appropriate health issue. Lack of diabetic screening services in rural, low-income communities is.
Write a formal APA paper on your three three (3) identified national and/or global health issues. Use the material in Unit 1 readings to help you think about your top health issues. Think beyond disease-specific problems to issues related to health. At the end of the course you will move from a health issue to health policy.
This paper should be between 2-4 pages and include:
a title page,
an introduction and conclusion,
in-text citations, and
references that include at least three scholarly, credible sources to support your topic
No abstract is needed
