Reaction papers should be word-processed (e.g.,
Word or pdf file), three-full pages each, double-spaced (Times New Roman 12
point font, 1-inch margins). Papers should represent your opinion/reaction to
the material, within the context of what we have been learning in this course.
Include your thoughts on the points the filmmaker(s) worked to convey. How is
the film relevant to psychology and law? How would you explain it to someone
who has not seen it? What resonated with you? What surprised you? Did the
documentary change your perspective, and if so, how so?

Reaction papers must be completed independently,
with the only sources accessed (outside of your opinions/reactions) being the
documentary, possibly your main text, and possibly class notes. Document your
sources (chapter, notes, texts) per APA style. Material referenced from other
sources should be paraphrased in your own words, and must be accompanied by the
appropriate citation. See the 7th edition of the Publication Manual of the American
Psychological Association (2020) for information on how to credit and cite
sources appropriately.
