This lab exercise will be a research paper of sorts. It does not need to be super formal, but it does need to look clean and read well. File submission must be a PDF document.
For full credit:
1.) Cover at least 2 different Moon formation theories you discover in the textbook or from other reputable sources. (If you have a question about a source, feel free to ask me before you use it.)
2.) Use correct grammar and complete sentences. You are at a university after all.
3.) Describe in detail the theory and how it explains why the Moon is the way it is today.
4.) Describe the history of each theory. (ex: when/where did it originate, how prominent was/is it, etc…)
5.) Highlight the strengths of each theory. (Really try to convince me it is right in this section.)
6.) Highlight the shortcomings of each theory. (Really try to discredit it here.)
7.) Conclude in a summary which of the two theories you discussed is more likely true in your opinion and why you came to this opinion.
8.) Provide a list of sources you used. At least one source for each theory must be linked to a university or research institute (like NASA).
