Strategic Planning for Successful Outcomes: The Big Picture
As a leader, you have to think big! In addition to the daily tasks of nurturing those you lead and modeling the servant’s role, you must maintain a laser focus on your organization’s transcendent goals, marshal the energy of all contributors and participants, and strategize ways to achieve successful outcomes.
Bryson’s (2021) strategies are universal in their approach and can be broadly applied across multiple contexts. Successful leaders anticipate complex interactions and uncertainty across the globe and prepare for fluctuation through strategic planning. Strategic thinking and planning provide stability for human services organizations in the global, multicultural context. This week, you will apply strategic thinking to an organizational leadership plan to solve problems requiring adaptable strategies.
