Hello! This is for my Art in western world class. You have to answer all 4 questions, and each question needs to be a page long, single spaced. I couldnt attach the PDF of the book but I attached 2 screenshots from the book that need to be used for the 4th question. I could always email you the book PDF I just couldn’t paste it in here as it was too big of a file.

2.Discuss the importance of the pilgrimage routes on the development of Church and monastery construction. Use the best examples of your choice.
3.Using the cathedral at Chartres as your main focus, discuss the new trends in architectural structure and design as the new Gothic era replaces the Romanesque period building.Include earlier Saint-Etienne at Caen and the later Reims cathedral (not in text, but in video) as your bookends for design leaps.
4.Briefly compare the earlier sculpture of Chartres’ west façade to those of the south portal, and then conclude with the west portal sculpture style at Reims. All in textbook.
