You will choose and work on a research topic throughout the course. Your project can
study either an existing organized market or an environment with a potential role for an
organized market. At least one third of the paper should describe the specific market
design questions relevant to your chosen environment and outline a plan for how to answer them; outstanding papers will also conduct some preliminary analysis towards these
answers (e.g., preliminary data collection/analysis or solving a toy model). Up to two
thirds of the paper can be a survey of existing literature relevant to your environment and
questions.
The topic that for this paper is the second-hand luxury good market.
The attachment is the proposal I wrote for the paper and you should write the paper related to the proposal and follow the requirement above. Professor also asked us to think a mechanism to improve the market. You need to write the first part(introduction,background and the drawbacks of the market) and maybe give some ideas of the mechanism. Then I can write the part of mechnism by myself.You also need to write some content of reference from some articles and papers of scholars that related to the topic and cite them.
