Overview This paper is designed to further your understanding of the Collaborative Approaches to Resolving Conflict; to help you analyze these concepts in a real-life conflict, and to improve your competency at managing conflict. Process First, identify an example of a real conflict where either (1) you are one of the parties or (2) you are an outsider Analyze your perception of the conflict Analyze others views of the conflict Write a 6-8 pages paper that: Summarizes the different views of the conflict Identifies possible approaches/methods to resolve this conflict Reflects what you have learned by completing this process PAPER REQUIREMENTS Whether you are a party or not write the paper in third person. Do not identify the parties. Use fake names Incorporate in your writing terminology and concepts from the readings and course materials Be sure to include an introduction that previews the content of your paper and a conclusion that summarizes the major concepts and describe what you have learned from writing this paper Include a reference list with a minimum of five scholarly references, in addition to text and class readings. Your research should be primarily concentrated in recent Collaborative Approaches to Resolving Conflict or Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) literature. This paper/project is worth 100 points in this class.
