Initial Post: Reflecting on the readings of this week, think about a time when you have used data to communicate (during your academic career or professional career) a complicated idea. How did you treat the data before bringing it into your presentation/talk? How did you manipulate the factors related to how that data may or may not be perceived to encourage your desired result? What was your intention, and what was the outcome? Would you do anything differently based on this week’s materials?
