For this assignment, you must come up with two studies: One using a quasi-experimental design and one using a longitudinal design. The longitudinal design is most often associated with Developmental Psychology. You must specify the hypothesis, briefly describe the design, identify the IV and the DV, and indicate why the design used is the best method for the hypothesis. Remember, a hypothesis is a testable assumption and a design/method indicates who would be included in the sample, how the variable(s) will be measured, and the steps through which the data will be collected to test the hypothesis.
