– Include comments to aid readability (Brief descriptions of key operations in the program should suffice)
– Use sensible variable names to make programs readable.
– Use explicit type conversion where and if necessary.
– Ensure relevant tests of code are included, however they can be commented out
– Use Conditional statements e.g. IF, switch
– Use ‘While’, ‘For’ & ‘Do While’ Loops
– TRY TO AVOID USING ARRAYS, OBJECTS & OTHER FUNCTIONS (WITH THE EXCEPTION OF MATHEMATICAL AND STRING
OPERATIONS) .
