Your well-written paper should meet the following requirements:
Formatted according to APA 7th ed. standards. Please visit the Owl Purdue website for APA formatting style guide.
3 pages in length (not including APA 7th ed. formatted title page and Reference Page). Note: I will not read beyond 3 pages. An abstract is not needed.
Contain a minimum of two scholarly sources, at least one of which is not provided in, or linked from the course or the article itself. The CSULB Library is a great place to find these scholarly sources! Note: in academic writing, you must cite other’s work when you paraphrase an idea, quote, or provide factual information. It is not uncommon to have at least 5-6 citations per written page.
Write clearly and logically, as you will be graded on content, analysis, and your adherence to the tenets of good academic writing, which should be succinct where possible while also exploring the topics appropriately. Remember that you can always improve your work by providing support from outside scholarly and trade sources, which help both to bolster your own assertions and supplement your ideas.
