A case study is provided in the case study pack which we have to achieve a diagnosis of the condition using patient data obtained for FBC, blood smear, hematinic and hemoglobin electrophoresis.
This piece is no more than 1000 words in total, excluding any references. This means you have to be concise!!
This piece has to be structed into sections. First you would mention the FCB results – which results where abnormal compared to reference ranges. You have been provided other questions to answer and also a table of the Fbc results for you to analyse.

I have also attached another link which shows you how to analyse the blood smear image. ( do let me know if any of the links do not work)
You would need attach an appropriate annotated image, labelling and anlaysing any abnormal blood cells, or number or cells outside the expected range ( see more information on the case study pack )
You then would need to do a hematinics. You would have to compare which results where abnormal compared to reference range. There is a table attached on the case study pack.
After you have done that you would need to do a Hb analysis. I have attached below a HB Electrophoresis image for you to include in the piece. Which would lead you on to do your diagnosis and justification. This would include your final diagnosis. What key features lead you to your conclusion. There are many question you would need answer which is included in the case study pack.
You would then need to end it with a option for treatment and limitation. You would need to consider treatments that apply and drawbacks there are to test used.
I have attached below every material you need. The case study also includes a marketing criteria. Can we aim for either OUTSTANDING OR EXCELLENT. It includes what you would need to include in each section so you can get the right grades. Make sure all images are clear and labelled correctly.
