Ulaanbaatar produces 42% of the waste in Mongolia. and the other provinces take 58%. The most 3 major wastes are food, glass, and paper. I interviewed one of the NGOs zero wast‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‍e Mongolia and their role is to spread the information about wastes and help people to waste sorting. And in Ulaanbaatar, there have 4 recycling companies for paper, plastic, ……. . , and these companies do not receive the needed amount of wastes daily and it makes recycling slow. It showing peoples who live in Ulaanbaatar does not have knowledge about waste. My idea to engage my prompt with one-course reading is since in reality recycling won’t really help, and Mongolians doesn’t sort their wastes and the ngos and other governmental organizations need to change their working method to spread infos about make a right choice and create less waste. Maybe spread infos about living minimalist. Must take active fieldnotes and submit a brief written analysis. reflect on your experience.
